Job Title : Software Engineer
Location: Cary, NC & unanticipated locations throughout the US
Positions: Multiple
Duties: Involved in requirement gathering from initial phase of the project and interact with Business users to understand business/functional needs in order to prepare Technical specification documents to map the Claim fields and functionalities from CS90 system to WGS system on prime environment. Knowledge Transfer to the offshore team with business functionality and on new requirements. Analyze JCLS, PROCS, Batch and online programs, which generate Reports and Correspondence. Inquiry DB2 tables using SPUFI and QMF. Create an inventory on Reports and Correspondence, which generate on CS90 system in current world and provide documents to vendor/client. Develop new, existing Batch programs using COBOL, DB2, JCL, IMS DB/DC, CICS and VSAM. Code and test new changes in Online CS90 Claim Inquiry screens using CICS. Test and debug batch and online programs using IBM debug tool and INTERTEST. Create test plans for Independent Unit testing and System testing and documented test results. Perform Peer review and log any issues and track till it is closed. Status Reporting and responsible for final delivery. Provide direction, expertise, feedback and coaching to build the capability to Off-shore project team and other onsite coordinators.
Required: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Technology, Electronics Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Systems Analyst or related IT position. Must have 2 years of experience with COBOL, JCL, SQL, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, CICS, SPUFI, QMF, Endevor, IBM File Manager, and IBM Debug tool.
In the alternate, will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Technology, Electronics Engineering or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Systems Analyst or related IT position. Must have 2 years of experience with COBOL, JCL, SQL, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, CICS, SPUFI, QMF, Endevor, IBM File Manager, and IBM Debug tool.
Travel required to unanticipated locations throughout the US.

Duties: Develop, design and implementation of software solutions/applications using various programming languages and technologies including Java/J2EE, SQL, Oracle, XML, EDI, XSLT, Unix, Gentran, Hibernate, Spring, Windows, Sterling Integrator, Microsoft. NET, C#, SQL Server, PL/SQL, Teradata or JDA. Validate data retrieval, and business reporting software code. Perform data transformations, data cleansing, data loading and application data reconciliation procedures for various client projects. Work with detailed specifications, designs, code, test plans, test cases and test scripts. Review, test, implement, and analyze data transformation & integration test plans.
Required: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related IT occupation. Must 2 years of experience with at least 5 of the following skills: Java/J2EE, SQL, Oracle, XML, EDI, XSLT, Unix, Gentran, Hibernate, Spring, Windows, Sterling Integrator, Microsoft. NET, C#, SQL Server, PL/SQL, Teradata or JDA.
