Stat9 WMS supports a wide variety of corporate distribution networks. You can model it to support a global, multiple subsidiary, multiple warehouse, distribution networks or single location, complex, high volume, pick-pack-ship distribution operations.

It provides you the flexibility to manage business rules at the enterprise and warehouse levels. This helps you to standardize processes across the enterprise for your customers, vendors and carriers but still have the flexibility to set up certain processes specific to a warehouse.

Receiving

Set Receiving Rules
Stat9 WMS Receiving provides tremendous flexibility to configure the receipt process to support your operations. Rules and parameters can be set at different levels. For example, you can specify inspection process at receipt type level, such as vendor receipts, transfer orders, etc., and at ASN level. You can configure parameters to
•specify receipt using printed worksheets, on-line terminals or integrated material handling equipment
•default received quantity to expected quantity
•display expected quantity to be total expected quantity or balance to be received
•specify product class
•specify inspection process and quality status of receipts
•print bar code labels for SKUs during receipt
•define excess receipt guidelines
•supports scanning of EIA / Non-EIA bar codes in receiving transactions

Plan for Receipts

Receive ASN from Vendors/Freight Forwarders.Stat9 WMS supports inbound ASN and POs. ASN can be sent with PO / SKU information. Vendors may also license plate the inbound product and send the License Plate Number (LPN) along with the ASN.

Set Dock Appointments for Inbound Containers.Stat9 WMS Receiving enables you to manage and schedule the appointment of trailers/containers to specific dock doors at the warehouse. You can view information on expected receipts such as purchase order, SKU, ASN/BOL, case level and container details. You can track the status of inbound consignments and plan for receipt. Once the expected inbound containers pass a certain status, you can schedule/modify unload date and time, dock number, unload notes, etc.

Set Inspection Profile and Sampling Plan. You can view expected receipts information and set the inspection profile and sampling scheme for each inbound consignment. Refer to the chapter on Quality Control for further details.

Opportunistic Cross-Docking. You can view ‘awaiting material’ reports and plan for cross-docking of consignments. You prioritize unloading of inbound containers based on customer shipment dates.
